PMA Super Martial Arts Centres, MENAI AND PADSTOW
Henrry Perez
Chief Henrry Perez

I have practiced Martial Arts for over twenty two years in multiple styles. Starting my training at the early age of twelve, I have dedicated my life to the understanding of the traditional values of Martial Arts and the true application of techniques. I believe that the correct application of techniques and efficient methods can be achieved through continuous training, and through the combination of mental balance, physical endurance and inner peace.

I hold a Black Belt 4th Degree in Taekwondo, Black Belt 4th Degree in Hapkido and a belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I also have formal training in Shotokan Karate, Karate Kempo, Thai Boxing, Wrestling, Grappling, Pankration and Boxing. I have been recognized as Instructor in Thai Boxing in Bangkok, Thailand under Sasiprapa Gym.I am also Certified level 1 in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) under American Top Team (ATT) at their head quarters in Coconut Creek, Miami, USA.

I spend many hours each week training MMA. I have trained with some of the most outstanding sports people and athletes in the industry including: Luke Pezzutti and John Will (Machado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and Mark Gambin (Boxing) at the Tzyu Academy.

Training under other organizations and styles has been a great experience; to mention some others, Grand Master Ji Han Jae, Master Sun Do (Peter) Kim, Doctor He-Young Kimm, Master Young T Fredda, Mister Frank Shamrock, Matt Hughes, Ricardo Liborio and the list goes on.

I would like to take this opportunity to forever thank all those families and friends who show an admirable dedication and support to PMA. PMA is a family oriented centre and places great emphasis on respect and discipline as a general rule. Martial Arts is far from being a way to defend ourselves, but rather is a way of thinking and reflecting on our actions on a daily basis.

The greatest asset and example an instructor can show his or her students is that to be rewarded as a great instructor one needs to be first a great student and stand by his/her peers. The challenge is always within; the difference is made by the action of going through it. The reality is knowing that you did it, and the satisfaction of victory is the reward of success over challenge.

A true instructor and competitor will meet the challenge and accept the outcome.....
